Occasional consort of Nethys, Sanvier perhaps began in love with him. Now, having watched his magics at work, all she sees is power. She now busies her days carefully observing his techniques and thieving away his secrets. Despite his knowledge and power, Nethys perceives her honeyed words most favorably, and either does not suspect her thievery, or simply finds it beneath his notice. Sanvier has become a skilled witch in her own right, utilizing her stolen magics. She tends to avoid contact with most of the clan's other members, as Tobias and Tabitha look most unfavorably upon her thieving ways, but cannot seem to convince Nethys of her disloyalty. She keeps herself busy in a laboratory she has developed for herself off of Nethys's chamber, working on adapting the imperial's theories into magics that she can use for herself.
