We built this castle on hill,

Where the snow lies so still,

We forged this home in the mountain,

Where the earth makes its natural fountains.


We were hungry for a fortress,

To raise our young without distress,

We were thirsty for a stronghold,

To keep our treasures of old.


We will grip tight to this bond,

That stays in our hearts so long,

We will pass on our stories,

That tell of our past glories.


And when the snow falls fresh,

There will be the memories of happiness,

And when laughter echoes where they roam,

There will be a new place called home.
