______ Eclipse stood in the coliseum, breathing in deeply, her emerald eyes squeezed shut. "I can control it. I can control it. It's so far back in my blood, it should be easy to fight. I can fight." She heard the gate rise as her opponent entered the ring. She opened her eyes, pupils narrowing at the drake who sized her up. He charged.

______ The Wildcats ducked to the left, dodging an attack. She ducked to the right, trying gauge what side was weaker. Slower. Find his weakness. He was a mirror, so he was fast. But his skin wasn't armored, like a guardian's. He was coming at her fast and relentless, but she knew how to deal with a hard offense. A good defense. She bloked and dodged his attacka over and over again, ubtil she could see he was getting exhausted. Then she strikes, laying her claws deeply along the right of the mirror's face. He was going to have a nasty. Two eyes down. Two to go.

______ The mirror hissed in pain, making clicking noises in discomfort. He rushed at Eclipse with renewed abandon. The wildclaw went to dodge again, but her form flickered, frozen. She was there one moment, then the next she was like a light bulb, disappearing in and out. She couldn't move, and the mirror barreled into her, not expecting her to sieze up like that. He knocked her to the ground, and dug his teeth into her shoulder. She cried out, throwing him off. She was a lot bigger than him. She barred her fangs.

______ It was her turn to be offensive. She rushed him, charging forward with her front claws outstretched to grab him. And then- phased right through him. She appeared on the other side of him. The mirror lookes confused. Eclipse, shaking off her own surprise, used this to her advantage, and jumped onto his back. She dug her back talons in and he helped, bucking and writhing, trying to throw off the raptor like drake. To no avail.

______ After the fight, her mate Circadian rushed to congratulate her. "Did you catch the fight?" She asked. She knew he was in the stands, but that didn't mean he was watching.

______ He smiled. "Even I couldn't sleep through that. How did you know how to use your glitch to your advantage like that?"

______ The wildclaw looked down, grinning to herself. "I didn't."
