Biography
Aptly named after the God, Apollo. And Apollo probably knew that.
Apollo cocks his head and his mouth open in disgust as what was presented to him. He slowly pushes the pile of glob away from him with hesitant jerks of his claws. "No." He says, "I don't think I'd want that. It's too undeserving of me."
The egoistic, maybe kind of narcissistic at times, Spiral stretches out and yawns as he lays on the plains. He doesn't have a job in the clan, the roles were too 'harsh' and 'lowly' for such a beautiful dragon as he. Surprisingly, he gets away with this.
The others do express their disapproval; their conversations often ends with Apollo prancing away scott free and the clan seething with anger. And by prancing, it meant that the tips of his claws were barely in contact with the ground before he leaps off again.
Because if Apollo needs to make an exit, he does it with style.
It's a wonder that he remains in the clan at all.
"The others are beneath me." He says. "And I'm too tired to search for another." He scrunches up his face and inclines his head. "I guess, you'd do then. For now."
As easy as it is to hate Apollo , he does have a kind heart, although he masks it all up afterwards. When he spots a dragonling trying to fish and has nothing to show his hard work for, Apollo merely throws in a couple of seafood. Shaking the water from his skin, he simply comments that he had been hungry but caught too much fish; it would be a burden for himself to carry those back.
Anyone knows that Apollo did fish for the kid, just as he would for any other dragons in a struggle.
He doesn't admit it, but Apollo does have a heart of gold.
With his best pal, Apollo is cheeky. Often teasing Selvans about his job and trying to lure him away from his post. Despite having a complete opposite personality from Apollo, Selvans remains true to his friend. Afterall, they did stumble upon this clan together, albeit only during their last lap in their journeys.
"It's your turn to keep watch again?!" Apollo cries. "You need to get a life!"
"This is my life."
"Uh no." Apollo wraps his arms around the Pearlcatcher's neck and pulls him closer. "There is a world far beyond this lush green." He indicates to the hills beyond their gates and Selvans' gaze follows. "It's called fun."
"And when the Raiders come," Selvans teases, "I'll serve you up as sacrifice."
"What?!"
"Yeah, because you will be guarding in my place, won't you?" Selvans says. "I thought we were friends."
"Ugh, I doubt that the Raiders are real anyways!" Apollo groans. "You always say that."
"And you are always afraid."
"I'm not afraid!" Apollo sticks his tongue out as he smiles. "I'll bring you a souvenir." He catches a glimpse of his pal before leaping into the sky. "Try to stay alive until then!"
Apollo is 16 human years, very tanned skin and sporting wavy blond locks. He has amber-hazel eyes and always has a mischievous smirk plastered on his face.

Gold, gold, and more gold
trailing across his scales, molten and warm
A breathy sigh on a cold winter night
Empty, forgotten ballrooms
Trailing across dust in a dance
Memories, old, still hurt
Wealth and power, once,
A gentle, eager smile
The letter is tossed away into the fire
Burning to ash
And the fire dies
