urduja remembers when an attempted invasion resulted in her and her family being separated when running to safety; the paralyzing terror she felt clawing at her stomach, the desperation in her parents' eyes melting away to relief when they were reunited.

the five of them tightly curled around each other for the night, but urduja couldn't bring herself sleep, too preoccupied with watching her family in fear they might disappear again in front of her.

under his tutelage, urduja attained the chance to finally train and do so alongside the same two dragons she had watched so long ago, to establish trust between the three of them stemming from supporting each other in combat.

her early beginnings and tenacity had her develop a brilliant sense for tactics and thinking ahead, her ferocity inherited from her father put to good use on the field, her constantly suspicious nature preventing even petty thievery from being successful.

it wasn't hard for her to prove herself capable of handling the title of grigori captain, and tala, even with a mother's fear for her child, was proud to have anointed urduja as such.

of course not everyone will be approving, not everyone will share in the clan's joy. there will always be rumors circulated amongst outsiders of how the prestigious title was only given to her because she and the lady are blood.

but it does not take much to see that urduja's conviction is unmatched.
