Biography

Navale is a dragon who writes stories. Some based on his own experiences, but others are based on dreams he had. His mate, Dublin, always approved of his hobby and inspired some of Navale's works. Writing was always one of Navale's passions, and it makes him happy.

One day, while writing about a golden dragon, A young Meneroka walked in. "Father?" He asked.

"What is it, young one?" Navale replied.

"I was wondering if you would be able to write a story about me." Meneroka requested. "Or maybe you could write one about Lea! I really do miss Lea, but in the letter he sent me, he said he's having a great time in the Misfit Menagerie!"

"I suppose I could write stories with you children in them." Navale said. "You know, if you miss your brother, you could travel the world in hopes to experience what he has."

Ever since that day, Navale had written stories with his children as the main character. He sees it as a gift to his children. However, he keeps the books for himself., as he fears if he gives his children the books, they won't have a reason to visit him anymore

One day, a particular event hit Navale and his wife, emotionally scarring both of them. Navale, wretched with grief, locked the books away, never to be touched by another dragon, let alone himself. He entrusted Yakedo with holding the key, as he chose to live with Lea.

He continues to write stories for his newborn dragons, but all other stories he had been working on before the incident have been stopped. He stopped these projects because all they would do is remind him of what he's lost.

His entire daily routine has changed, most of it consisting of spending time with his children and wife, instead of writing. A small portion of his day is to visit where his lost daughter last was, looking at the shards of pearl left behind by the delusional pearlcatcher.

Whenever he stares at the shards, Dublin always is by his side. They ask each other what they did wrong, but they never come to a conclusion. This causes both dragons to grieve next to one another, while trying to comfort the other at the same time.

Eventually, Moonlight called a meeting with Navale and Dubin. They accepted, not knowing what the meeting could possibly be about. Once they arrived, Moonlight asked if Navale wanted to leave the clan on an expedition.

"Why would I want to leave?" Navale asked.

"I can sense a presence." Moonlight replied, "It appears as if something you wish to find is still alive, somewhere in the Viridian Labyrinth. However, I am unable to provide its exact location."

"Is-is it her?" Dublin stuttered, tears forming in her eyes. "Please, dear. You must go and find her!"

"If your prediction is correct, I shall head out and find her." Navale replied.

He began to gather his things, asking Yakedo to unlock the bookcase for the first time in months. He grabbed the book with a claw scratch, and opened it. The book was unfinished, as the dragon had run away before Navale could finish it.

Dublin noticed her husband holding this book and placed a piece of pearl inside. "Please, cure her of this sickness. I can't bear to know she's still out there, broken by this flower."

Navale nodded and left, luggage in tow. All he wanted was to save his lost daughter, and bring her out of these delusions the sickness caused. He knew he had to go to the Viridian Labyrinth, and he knew exactly how to get there.

Eventually, he arrived in the middle of a forest, Few dragons roaming around the place. He noticed a Pearl Colored Gaoler with a White Gaoler, they seemed to be talking about something, but neither of them resembled his lost child, so he ignored them. It didn't take long for him to find a dragon who resembled the child, but she was a completely different breed, and the dragon didn't have the runes that bore her name .

Navale thought this dragon couldn't possibly be his child, as none of his children had glowing eyes. He stayed in the Labyrinth until he deemed his search complete. He returned without a pearlcatcher, but with more tears in his eyes than when he left.

He knows his daughter is still alive, but he also knows he'll never find her or cure her of her disease.
