ooooWild and rowdy, Malentier was ten times the devil that Ensost was as a hatchling. She wanted nothing to do with the clan and refused help or care of any kind, no matter who it was from. Cencha worried for her, but was hopeful her personality would cool down after a little more time in the clan. ____During the Crystalpine Ambush, many of the clan members fought in the fray in order to protect the younger and more vulnerable dragons of the group. Malentier was one of them, and unbeknownst to nearly all of the others, took a nasty blow to the face to protect Cencha. She has a scar from the sharp claws that raked across her muzzle; a constant reminder to the Matriarch of the Mirror’s undying commitment to the clan, despite her indifferent exterior. ____Not much has changed since Malentier's hatchling days. Or at least, that's how most dragons view things. Just beneath the surface, however, a change has been occurring. Only those who spend more than a few minutes with her can observe this difference. Sure, she's rowdy, angry, and quick to fly off the handle, but she is getting better. ____She finds herself most comfortable with older members of Syncraci: Ensost, Etstra, Linirtine, and Palifret, mainly. Malentier is always wary of new clan mates, whether they give off a positive or eerie vibe. Cencha is her number one mentor, friend, and maternal figure.[/size] ____When she trains, she either does it alone, or doesn't at all. She isn't keen on others watching her fight, which has led most of the clan to believe that her techniques must be brutal and unforgiving. This is somewhat true, but only in times of great need does she really let go and allow her instincts to take over. Troubles with her last clan that may explain her need to present as a dragon with a cold exterior, but no one has pressed any further.[/size] ____Malentier hoards stuffed animals. She likes anything adorable and squishy; one look at their cute beady button eyes makes her heart melt. She would never, ever let anyone else know this. |
