B I O G R A P H Y

______ One day, Glaedr was in the main tower of the clan, assigning duties to their newer dragons. A dragon hurtled through the doors, birdskull tumbling past his feet, interrupting him. With a heavy sigh, he turned to find Madrigal, his head scout, out of breath but with a big smile on her face.
"What is it, Madrigal?" He drawled slowly, looking annoyed.
"S-sir," she stuttered, out of nervousness and excitement. "I believe Lilly is back. The Lilly."

______ Glaedr jerked violently in surprise, his own headdress falling to the floor, eyes wide as saucers, He stepped closer to Madrigal and looked into her deep blue eyes.
"Excuse me? How could that be possible?" He inquired, his heart beating quickly.
Madrigal repeated herself and told him that she had no idea, it's a mystery, her smile faltering slightly but still stretching from ear to ear.
Glaedr's grin grew as her words continued. As she finished, he threw his head into the air and let out a mighty, happy roar. He dropped everything and sprinted out of the main tower, butterflies in his stomach and his heart skipping beats.
"Lilly, Lilly, my Lilly, I'm coming darling," he chanted, flying now. He could now see the entrance, and there she was. Lilly, now standing in all of her beauty. Teardrops fell from his green eyes, and his claws reconnected with the ground. He ran towards her, and she ran towards him.

______ They collided and hugged, salty tears falling onto each other's scales and wings. Glaedr kissed her once, twice, three times, never letting go of her. Lilly pulled away and looked at him, and he realized that his skin was new to her. When she was taken away from him, he was a blank sheet, but now he was crystallized. He was nervous. Did she like it?
"You're my stunning diamond," she whispered, showering him with kisses once more.
Glaedr smiled, his heart feeling warm and fuzzy. He was whole once more. His big paws held her small, delicate frame as he said, "I'm so lucky to have you, my love. You are my beautiful flower."
