Grivine left the Windswept Platrau to see the world. Along the way, she encountered a snapper who was so spaced out she wondered if she could make him walk off a cliff.

When the snapper's clan heard of this Ridgeback's spirit of experimentation and discovery, they immediately asked her to join the clan. She accepted despite (or because of?) the snapper's protests. She has been tasked with ferrying him around, and the two have been travelling together ever since.
