Biography
mate- none
nestmates- Krii
close friends- Lilith, Eclypse, Bluebell, Melborry (Longneck)
bonded familiars- Hydra Scorpion, Longneck Mender
Penelope works as a healer, searching for medicinal herbs, recognizing signs of distress or injury in his fellow clanmates, and the like. he studied under his aunt, Lilith, as an apprentice healer for several years, so much of what he knows is through her.
Penelope shares his aunt’s patient, gentle demeanor, though leans more towards the solitary, only dealing with others as much as is needed to heal their injuries. he’s not very concerned about appearances, so he doesn’t much care if his clanmates think of him as cold. he actually acts so purposefully, knowing an aloof atmosphere will deter others from interacting with him. he only wishes to do his job, then retreat to his own devices afterwards. not that he would cut corners– his work is always thorough and complete. as such, he’s usually found wandering about the territory, searching for new sources of herbs, or possible hazards to his clanmates’ health that may need removing.
despite his disinclination towards interaction, Penelope has recently become interested in the company of a wondering Longneck that passed into Aceraceae territory– Melborry. this particular Longneck is a mender for her own Longneck clan, and had been on a long journey in search of a certain rare set of herbs for her stocks. Penelope had been the first to find her and introduced her to Aceraceae’s apothocary, Rosales, thinking Melborry may have luck with the Tundra’s herbal stocks. Penelope thought that would be the end of it, until he later found that Melborry was interested in a possible partnership between their clans, particularly between their healing sectors. Lilith volunteered Penelope as the head of such bond-building, and Penelope obliged, if not a bit reluctantly. through their exchange of knowledge and resources over time, Penelope has grown rather fond of Melborry, and vis versa.
hereditary joint pains are beginning to appear in Penelope’s limbs, but they're not so bad yet, as he’s young.
