Biography
Vega laughed as Dirge signed the punchline. Zuras' booming guffaws filled the room and got smacked for his troubles by a gloved paw. He watched Brynjolf dash past and sent a greeting towards the Nocturne.
"Sorry, lad; bit busy at the moment!" was tossed back and Vega snorted good-naturedly. Always busy in one way or another was their Bryn. Dirge smiled as well, but Zuras frowned.
"Been more an' more busy lately hasn't he..." was the soft whisper, filled with concern. Vega and Dirge looked over at the younger member. Dirge's eyebrows were cocked and Vega felt his own expression mirroring its incredulity.
"Well, Bryn's third in command, Zuras. He's the main dragon to approach if there's an issue in the Guild. Gallio's second and he's for external affairs, like if there's a threat or possible mark. Mercer, as you know, controls the whole shebang. She's the final say in newbies, marks, everything." Vega looked around for any eavesdroppers before leaning in with a devious grin. "I heard that they're even a couple and have a secret honeymoon spot." Zuras' eyes widened before he noticed Dirge's silent wheezing laughter.
If you catch Vega in a contemplative mood, you'll find that he was the leader of an army and named Blue Leader by most of his soldiers. Cold and calculating, his pale blue hide was the reasoning behind his strange name. More flexible in fighting style than his opponent's armies, the lithe and agile drake razed armies to the ground and forced them from the skies.
But it didn't last. Vega was betrayed by his own commanders, his closest friends. Turned over to the enemy, he was forced to serve their ends and attack his former soldiers. They had no chance against the Wildclaw who'd built them from the ground up.
It's rumored he has a memento from each after he took revenge for his fallen soldiers. Vega quietly plans the downfall of his former friends and holds memorial services for the soldiers he was forced to fight each fortnight.
If you're wondering how a former warlord is now a thief, don't ask. Vega won't answer you.
