All was quiet in the laboratory. The lights were dim in the right corner of the lab. There was a nest and there lay a single egg in it. Although the egg wouldn't hatch Sandstorm feared the worst that the egg was dead. Lightningstrike was puzzled about it. But he wasn't going to quit just yet, stuffing the egg into a test tube placing it on a shelf, thinking if it didn't hatch by the end of the night he'll throw it away. When several hours passed the egg started hatching lightning hitting the edge of the tube. Out came a spiral, almost seeming shade-touched by the grasps around his wings. Not knowing that he was on a shelf the spiral tumbled off the shelf, the shrinking awoke Lightningstrike who rushed in turning on the lights and gasped for the baby spiral was tangled in wires. The Scientist did everything he could to get him untangled, alas it wasn't much good for the wires merged into the spiral skin.
