Biography

~ Clan representative ~
Currently celebrating and representing - Rockbreaker's Ceremony!

Formerly known as Ara, Dynamo was appointed (and nicknamed) by Mahogi to be the clan's rep regarding festivals and official greetings. She takes the job overly seriously and participates in any possible social activity. Naturally, she is always SUPER busy!
She also takes care of the clan's familiars and of course, adores Fiona.
Story of how Dynamo adopted froggy:

Written by NorthSong:
A large, unfamiliar dragon plods through the wide lands of the Abiding Boneyard, an oddly colored spot in the sickly red-and-white-and-pulsing green landscape, arriving eventually at a selected lair.

The big male guardian looks like he just crawled out of the swamps of his homeland- trickles of murky water constantly run in rivulets down his vegetation-festooned body to drop steaming onto the earth, despite the long travel he's surely taken from his clan's lands. Heck, forget 'just crawled out of a swamp'- the guardian IS a piece of a swamp, an ecosystem unto himself, mists curling out of his massive bulk and the scent of wet earth permeating his vicinity. Here and there a fat water bug crawls over or under a lilypad or algae clump and here and there a flash of movement as a small amphibian traverses the landscape of his body in pursuit.

Despite his size and the Nature magic fairly oozing from him, the strange dragon, laden with packages, is obviously not here as a threat. He carefully unhooks a large basket woven of dried lianas from the harness across his powerful shoulders, (previously mostly hidden behind what looks to be small mangrove trees anchored to or growing from his body) and places it before the lair he's arrived at.

"Pardon me for interrupting your festivities." the visitor notes, tone respectful and even- if he's bothered by being in the heart of the flight so very opposed to his own, he does not show it. "The Veiled Gladesongs send their greetings and a small gift to the clans of our sister flight on the occasion of your festival; whatever our… differences, like shadow and light, one could not exist without the other."

(Tactfully, Rhizoph chooses not to mention the frantic fussing that had accompanied the planning of the present- usually the small clan gave gifts of flowers and fruits, but this being Plague, the debates over what would be appropriate, useful and available for a Nature clan to pack up in the first place had been… fraught.)

The basket is filled with an eclectic yet interesting mass of foodstuffs- a variety of fresh, earthy-smelling mushrooms and fungi, myriapods clearly freshly caught, and even some plump maggots wrapped in damp leaves to keep them fresh. Pungent-smelling large flowers are also within, along with small carnivorous plants with their roots neatly wrapped up in damp sod (which promptly display some interest in the small insect life humming around the Boneyard when exposed), dried meats and even clay crocks of jellies boiled from the bones of some sort of wild forest game, by the scent. Some kind of bright cephalopod and fresh, colorful fish whose scales and spines weep some sort of mild venom are also carefully packed in, gleamingly damp.

(It seems that, despite Plague's well known tolerance for more dangerous elements in their food or materials, some clan member has decided out of thoughtfulness or 'better-safe-than-targeted-for-revenge-by-annoyed-sister-flight' to label those items in the gift that aren't entirely safe for normal consumption in neat dragonscript.)

His duty discharged, the guardian nods. "My clan wishes you an. Um. …fruitful? conclusion to your festivities." he intones. "Please excuse me; I have other deliveries to make." That said, he turns and pads away.

…In his absence, some tiny ribbits fill the air as small, colorful frogs make a bid for escape from the opened package. …or maybe off of the guardian's own body.

Written by Mahogi:
37250742p.png Mahogi, a chubby bogsneak, the leader of Hogger clan interrupts her festive speech to the public, as she spots the massive approaching unfamiliar dragon. Having travelled all over Sornieth as a Plague representative and seen all kinds of things, she is completely not taken aback by such an odd visitor (tho the rest of the crowd let's out a few ooohs and ahhhs of anticipation). With a wide grin, Mahogi marches ahead to greet the giant. She quietly inquires how the visitor would like to be addressed, turns around, and loudly announces "Welcome! Welcome Rhizoph of Nature, who blesses us with their presence on this joyous day! Dear guest, please do make yourself comfortable and enjoy your stay!"

The crowd cheers, flaps and claps, and makes all kinds of noises of excitement. Visitors are pretty uncommon, so it's always a big deal. Everyone's eyes light up, when Rhizoph starts unpacking one basket out of many, filled to the brim with all kinds of creepy crawly yummies. A small gang of hatchings tumbles out of nowhere and starts playing tag running around the basket and the visitor's massive paws. "A tribute! Why you shouldn't have! Thank you dearly ". Rhizoph mumbles, being unsure if this is appropriate and apologizes if this is not to anyone's liking, but Mahogi taps his paw (original idea was to tap the shoulder, but she quickly realized she is too smol to reach ), "Oh do not have a worry, this is great! Most of the clan travel all over Sornieth and bring home ALL kinds of goods! Your gifts are absolutely perfect", she winks to Rhizoph and lets out a shy giggle as she examines the food basket and realizes how much effort and thought the visitor has poured into his gifts.

Mahogi, suddenly worried, starts fussing "Oh, oh my, is the largest visitor lair prepared for guest stay?? Oh you travelled so far, you must rest for a while", but Rhizoph promptly interrupts, informing that he is not available for a longer visit - in fact, he still has many clans to visit.

51113540p.png Upon hearing that the visitor will not be staying, Vetra starts to shuffle in his spot uncontrollably, because he is PRETTY sure he spotted a new species of succulent on Rhizoph's shoulder that he absolutely MUST document, and oh my, if only he could get a sample, just a tiny one... ... Vayu, his mate, promptly grabs him by the necklace, whispering to him to not even think about it, as it's likely a HELLA rude thing to ask for. 50643571p.png

Mahogi thanks Rhizoph again for the unexpected visit and tribute, and the whole clan waves him goodbye with "Happy Riot of Rot!", as the giant sets his foot to continue his journey. Suddenly she hears a tiny ribbit and locates a smal colorful froglet. "Yummy" she thinks and licks her jaws when Dynamo suddenly appears behind her back and with a dangerous intonation explains "FRIEND, not FOOD", leaving Mahogi no other option, but to allow Dynamo to adopt the froggo.
