The All Seeing Eye
By Arkonsel
“Eye see everything! Heee hee hee!!!”
Meatwad was born with multiple eyes, a gift from the Plague Mother to let him see enemies approach from far and wide. After he met Titan, however, he chose to follow Titan’s example and started to improve himself, digging out his own eyeballs and replacing them with ones from his enemies. However, unlike Titan, Meatwad left them alive to limp off with one eye, the other socket empty, gushing only blood.
It serves him better to have them walking the other regions so he can spy through their remaining eye. From their one good eye, he sees everything they see. The empty socket in their skull is full of potential for infection; he spits into the wound once he’s clawed out the eyeball he needs and links it to himself with his own bodily fluids.
It doesn’t matter what Flight his enemy was from or what color the eyes were originally. All it takes is a day for them to turn as red as his own plague eyes, as red as the blood that he licks from between Brainz’s scales. Brainz finds it strangely soothing to have Meatwad cannibalizing him while he is still alive. When the spiral sleeps, which is very rarely, he winds himself around Brainz’s neck like a noose and closes his primary set of eyes.
His other eyes stay open. Always. No matter what, they never close. Upon the death of the dragon who carries the other eye, they turn milky white and go blind, which just means that Meatwad needs to replace it. Brainz is always happy to accompany Meatwad in his search for a new carrier. He thinks its kind of romantic.
