Imagine yourself walking alone through a beautiful forest. Everything about it seems magical, like a real-life fairytale. The ground underneath you is covered in a thick carpet of soft green moss, you realise you are not wearing any shoes. The moss feels very good under your feet. A gentle breeze blows around you causing the leaves on the trees around you to sway softly. As you look up you can just see the precious blue sky above the tree-tops, the warm sun shines down onto your skin and you notice there are few white fluffy clouds drifting slowly along with the world... as you listen closely you hear the relaxing sound of running water and the sweet songs of the birds in the distance. You can see a couple of pretty songbirds on the branches. You suddenly feel very tired and decide to have a little rest on the mossy ground underneath a weeping willow you slowly drift off to the sound of the birds and awaken a couple of hours later to find it is starting to get dark. The sunset peeks through the trees causing everything around you to be flooded in a bright orange colour. You continue to walk through the forest, not sure where you are going. In fact you find yourself to be quite lost and the sun is not setting any slower. You start to worry, tears creeping into your eyes as you look for the way back home. Everything seems to look the same. Eventually you take a seat on a nearby rock and sob. It is starting to get cold now that the sun is disappearing from the sky. Your crying catches the attention of something that is watching you from the bushes. You feel your heart freeze in fear thinking that it is a wolf or a bear. You slowly stand up but your legs feel shaky so you have to sit down again. Your eyes widen as the creature slowly emerges from the bush. As it comes into full sight you realise it is a very odd but beautiful looking dragon. She looks just like a...tree. She is dressed in a beautiful green silk dress and in her mouth she carries a single lily. She looks at you with soft and gentle eyes before gingerly placing the lily at your feet. As she takes a step back she speaks to you in a calming voice. "Do not be afraid my child, for I am Enchantress, the Queen of all the woodland creatures. Take the lily of guidance and find the pixies. They will guide you back to your place of safety" and with her final word she graciously dipped her head and disappeared into the forest. You were left stunned, the lily of guidance still at your feet. You carefully reach down and lift it up. Upon your action of taking it into your hands it starts glowing softly. "Find the pixies..." the she-dragon had told you. But what pixies? you thought they had only existed in fairytales but this forest seemed exactly like a fairytale... you close your eyes, still holding the lily and whisper into the fading light... "pixies...if you can hear me...I need your help..." You say. As you open your eyes you look around and suddenly notice several tiny heads poking out of the bushes in front of and around you. Looking at you with caution and curiosity. You gasp softly upon seeing these tiny curious creatures. You don't make any sudden movement, rather you stay exactly where you are to show them you mean no harm. Eventually, one by one, the little pixies begin to emerge from the bushes in which they were hiding in and move closer to you. You hold your breath, fascinated by the very sight of them. You had never seen a pixie before, only in your storybooks. Your eyes widen as they start to gather in a circle around you before holding hands and start singing a sweet tune in little high voices while walking around in a circle. The tune is soothing, like a sweet and gentle lullaby. You start to feel safe and relaxed once more. After they end their song, two of the pixies take you by your hands while the others motion for you to follow them. They lead you all the way back to your home before smiling and running back off into the forest. You watch in awe as they disappear into the wood and realise you are still holding in your hand the lily given to you by Enchantress...

The story of Enchantress began on a cool breezy night in a forest known as Wisteria. Three tiny eggs lay in a nest of pines and moss in the nursery away from predators and thieves alike, guarded closely by their Mother Starlight and Father Druid. The eggs lay next to each other, barely making so much as a sound. Silence filled the air as most of the clan were asleep but the couple knew tonight was to be the night their three little ones would hatch. Some hours later the first egg began to shake very slightly which aroused excitement in their parents. Enchantress was the first to hatch from her dark and warm egg to greet the world for the first time. The tiny hatchling finally broke free of her shell and tumbled out of the nest, landing at the feet of her Father. She blinked and shook her head as her vision was still blurred and everything was fuzzy. As everything began to come into focus she looked up to the large male above her with curious eyes. Her Father nuzzled the tiny baby as he welcomed her to the world then gently nudged her back into the nest. She crawled around the nest exploring every nook and cranny until she discovered the two other eggs which she'd soon discover were her sibings. Her parents watched her affectionetely and with pride as the little hatchling explored and learned her new world. All of a sudden she heard a banging sound coming from the egg closest to her which got her attention. She tilted her head to the side and crept closer. She gave it a sniff and nudged it a little with her claw causing it to crack open. Her brother was born shortly after followed by their younger sister. Once all three hatchlings were safely brought into the world they all snuggled up together and fell asleep.

As a hatchling Enchantress spent her first week of life playing chase and play fight with her siblings and learning more about the world she lived in from her parents. She was a very curious hatchling and loved the forest more than anything. Once she was a little older and had learnt how to fly she'd spent all her time in the forest from dawn until dusk. She loved the peace there and made friends with each and everyone of the forest life. She didn't really have any dragon friends and she was made fun of by her siblings for being obsessed with the forest. One day her Father pulled her aside and requested for her to stay out of the forest for a while and help around the clan. Not wanting to anger her Father or bring shame on her birthclan she respected his wishes and spent a week helping the healers collect herbs and brew healer potions for the sick. Then one morning she had a terrible feeling in her gut that something was dreadfully wrong. Something inside her was shouting at her to go to the forest. She ignored the urge and tried to go back to sleep but it kept pulling at her like some invisible force. Eventually she gave in and without disturbing her parents and siblings from their rest she headed off into the forest, racing at top speed. She seemed to know exactly where the trouble was taking place. As soon as she got to a wide open space she could hear a tiny high voice crying for help. She followed the sound closely and soon reached a bush. As she peeked over she could see a tiny little woodland creature, a pixle, caught in a rope trap! It seemed to be frightened and dark, as pixies were when afraid. She wasted no time in leaping over the hedge causing the small pixie to shriek in terror. "Shhhhhh..." Enchantress told it softly "I am here to help you, just hold on okay?". The pixie tried to relax but having never encountered a dragon before it was still afraid. Enchantress worked quickly to cut the terrified creature down from the tree using her sharp claws. Once it was free Enchantress made an opening in the trap and took out the poor creature. As she held it in her claw it looked up to her trembling and with wide eyes. "It is okay, you are safe now" She said in a hushed voice. Upon studying it she realised it was only a baby. It's worried parents had been watching in fear from a distance and when they witnessed the dragon saving their baby's life they emerged from the bush looking overjoyed and grateful. Once the baby was returned she saw more and more pixies emerge from the bushes. Once they heard of the great rescue they all started clapping, cheering and singing with glee. They thought of Enchantress as their saviour and Queen and even made a beautiful silk dress for her. The head of pixies presented her with a single lily and told her these flowers can be used to call them whenever she needed help. Empressed thanked them and once they had left she headed back too but not towards her birthclan, but towards the rest of the forest. She had decided she was leaving her birthclan for good and to find a new clan. She wondered for many days until the forest came to a sudden end and she was greeted by a large lake. Eventually she came across Audrey the leader of Riverclan and was accepted. She continues to help lost and wounded dragons and creatures and has become one of the healers of her new clan. She wonders if she can get in touch with her parents some time.
