In a particularly shady and desolate stretch of the swamp at the very edge of the clan something shimmering stirs in the murky waters. The locals know to stay away and approach with caution.
If one wishes to meet Medusa they must bring tasty gifts or risk being playfully drowned. She doesn't like her social visits to be too frequent or last too long.
She trains aspiring warriors from time to time but she does so more to quell her violent urges by tearing wildclans to pieces than any loyalty to the dragons that just so happened to settle near her home. She was here first.
The only other dragon she has any measure of patience for is Sequoia. Partly out of respect for their shared profession as trainers, partly because the damned spiral won't stay still for long enough for her to take hold of her to pull underwater.
If a long time passes between Sequoia's visits sometimes she finds herself feeling a bit more restless than usual but she brushes it off.
