Biography

Ravage- Head of Scavenging- The Bloody Berserker

Theme Song

Mate: Dread (Don't Ask About It)

Quirk: Headbutting hard objects when annoyed.

Ravage is a fairly nasty piece of work, but fortunately, the stronger dragons keep him in line. He joined the clan due to them taking him in when he was hungry, and now he has a grudging sense of loyalty to them, particularly to the Yurallia and her hunting division. In order to pay his debt, Ravage now leads scavenging parties into some of the nastiest areas in the world. Fearless and quick, Ravage can often beat out other predators and dragons to loot. Despite his skill, most dragons agree that he can be a bit too harsh and rude- he's not very popular in the clan. While he is the head of scavenging, Cass always requests to "borrow" him when the clan is getting ready to fight.

Rusty was an active Mirror, even at a young age. Part of the pack, he played his part and grew up to be strong. A bit more social than most Mirrors, Rusty would flit from pack to pack, making friends and acquaintances along the way. Still, despite his sociable nature, Rusty had no qualms about battling other Clans and raiding territories for food. Over time, Rusty rose higher until he was the head of his own pack. They ran throughout the lands, from the Ashfall Waste to the Scarred Wasteland, hunting and fighting day by day. Rusty felt alive and free in this life. All of this changed when they ran into HIM.

Earlier that day, they had found a snowy white Spiral roaming the land. They had ignored him- one Spiral was no challenge to a group of ferocious Mirrors. But that night, the Spiral had attacked while they were sleeping. Rusty was horrified- they had done nothing to provoke him and he had shown know sign of aggression or warning. The Spiral's chilling laughter echoed throughout the night as he struck Mirror after Mirror down. Rusty was one of the last to fall. Twenty mirrors defeated by one Spiral in the night.

Rusty awoke the next morning, his body drenched in the blood of himself and his friends. He stirred among the rest, his four eyes flitting around, wondering where the bodies were. Only three other dragons had lived. Rusty noted that not everyone was there- the Spiral had taken trophies. He had been lucky. Rusty walked throughout the corpses. His packmates were in awe, and slowly fled the scene. Rusty was the last to remain. His closet friends, slaughtered, defeated, ravaged. He would have to return the favor. The sight of blood made him boil in a fury. He attacked the landscape around him in his frenzy until he calmed down. Taking up a new name, Ravage, he continued on.

Ravage joined a new Clan, which immediately took him in. He decided to become a warrior and fight for others, all the while scouring the land for any sign of that clownish Spiral. But there was a side effect that the attack had on him- he went berserk when he was around too much blood. The attack had left a permanent affect on him. Red would fill Ravage's eyes, and the scent would drive him into an uncontrollable rage, his head swimming with the image and sound of that crazed Spiral. During battles, he would shred through friend and foes alike. Eventually, his scales were stained red with blood of allies and enemies. He was forced out of his Clan when he became too dangerous.

Ravage wandered the land, surviving well enough for a while, but wounds from his previous battles soon took his toll. He slowed down and could not hunt or catch food reliably. He wandered aimlessly, starving before he eventually collapsed in the Southern Icefield. The Azeryx Clan found him, Yurallia leading a hunting party. Seeing the pitiful state the bloody Mirror was in, Yurallia deemed him no threat and brought him back to the Clan. Ravage was fed and healed. As thanks, he decided to join the Clan. Ravage claimed he knew all of the best places to Scavenge- as a result, he became the Head of Scavenging. His true goal, however, was to avoid battles and instead inspect dead creatures, hoping to find a sign of the Tundra (whose name he had learned to be Circus).

Ravage eventually gained Cala, Wraith, and October as Scavengers, and they all know his story to an extent. But it was exposed to the entire Clan when Frost was caught by a border patrol, lurking in the territory. Ravage immediately flew into a fury, but was restrained by Dread. Frost was imprisoned, while Ravage bitterly revealed his true story to Hallow and the elders- that Frost had slaughtered his comrades, that blood caused him to attack everyone around him in rage, and how all he wanted was that Tundra dead. Hallow refused to let him kill the prisoner, and assigned Dread to watch Ravage in battles- as a result, Ravage is removed from fights if he gets too out of control. He has not forgotten his grudge against Frost, and Schatten and Gloom have had to stop him from sneaking into the dungeon to try and kill the clown. On a more positive note, he and Dread have become close as she deals with him.

He is the only one who knows the true extent of Dread's story, and as such, he knows that Rowan is Dread's son.

Ravage fought in the war, and kept many of Shredder's weaker followers at bay. He eventually lost himself in a berserker haze of blood, leading to Dread knocking him out. He was kept out of the battle past the point, but survived and is helping the Clan rebuild itself.

Cass and Sprocket enjoy his company, and he gets along with Yurallia. He actively distrusts the elders, which make him worrisome to them. He and Dread appear to have a very bizarre love-hate relationship.

"If you go twelve seconds without Ravage saying something nasty with you, then congratulations- you just set a new record." -Tangle

"He looks like he's drowned in an ocean of blood, but he was vicious enough to crawl back out. -Yurallia, upon finding Ravage.

"I've lost myself in the blood too many times- I need to restrain myself." -Ravage
