Soon after Atlas wandered into the clan, Pleione seemed to appear out of nowhere, strongly drawn to the Arcanite. Even to this day, the only other dragon in the clan she associates with is Atlas -- he is the only dragon who has heard her speak, or has even seen the purple eyes under her sagging hat. Pleione is perfectly content helping Atlas with his magical research, and he readily admits that she has been the best assistant he has ever had. He states that she is amazingly intelligent in the ways of magic, as well as knowing a nearly concerning amount of information on the Shade, but no other dragon in the clan is able to verify this. When asked as to why Pleione never leaves his side, Atlas only shakes his head and says that the answer lies in the stars... As the majority of the clan is unable to see her Shadow eyes, the brambles that writhe around Pleione's limbs are proof enough of her original flight. Some dragons even go so far as to believe they're slightly Shade-touched and are capable of strangling someone, or that they have brainwashed Pleione ever so slightly and are the reason for her attraction to Atlas. The appearance of daughter(s?) Maia and Aiam only seem to confirm these rumors... |
