Beniir

Beniir arrived at the clan when one of the worst storms of the year was starting.

It was raining quite hard, and a few dragons decided to stay in the inn rather than trying to fly back to their lairs. It was fairly peaceful, they were sitting around chatting. It was getting late, when they heard a knock at the door. They assumed it was just a tree branch that had blown loose in the wind. The knock got louder, and Reapress decided to go out and see if she could move the branch.

Reapress moved the board that was holding the door shut, and the door flew open in the wind. An exhausted Coatl was standing outside, shielding himself from the rain with his wings. Reapress quickly beckoned him in, and slammed the door shut. The other dragons jumped up and wrapped the shivering coatl in blankets and towels.

Once he stopped shivering, the coatl explained that he had been forced down in a field by the storm. He had been walking for an hour before he found this inn. He said that his name is Beniir, and he has been travelling for 2 weeks without much rest.

Reapress noticed that Beniir had no bags, and asked him about it. He explained that he had nothing. He said that his last clan tried to exalt him during a dominance push, and he ran away in the middle of the night. He sadly looked around and said that he couldn't even stay here because he had nothing to pay with. Anne, the owner of the inn, piped up at this point. She said that she couldn't put him or during such a bad storm, and that he will be staying for however long the storm lasts. At these words, Beniir teared up. After so much betrayal and fear, someone was finally being kind to him.

The next day, the wind was still blowing with the full force of the Windsinger. Beniir slept half the day before finally coming down to eat. Anne made a large stew for lunch and everyone ate deeply. It was very clear that Beniir had not had a good meal in a while. He insisted on helping with chores and cleaning around the inn, since he could not pay. Anne finally gave in and let him help.

The storm lasted for another 3 days. Over those days, they all became quite attached to Beniir. When the storm finally let up, they asked him if he would be interested in joining the clan. He was overjoyed at this. Reapress, who is the leader of the clan's guard, offered to train him to become a stronger fighter.

Beniir quickly became a very powerful fighter. He became a trainer for any dragons who want to become guards, or just to become stronger.
