Apricot is one of the most exciting and energetic dragons as a fire flight explorer on the Traveling Truffles team and when he is not at his amazing job of exploring and cataloging the culture of the Ashfall Waste, he is hanging out with his similar speaking friends. In fact, Apricot talks like only two other dragons in this clan, one being a pretty snazzy worker, Holly, at the Tavern. The other is quite the loose cannon like his guild member, Hestia who loves to pummel anyone messing with Plague dragons off their own fear of the species, but even more so as her job leaves her with no restraints on what she can or can not do. Ruby is a Bounty Hunter and skilled assassin tasked with hunting down beasts in other territories and either bringing targets back dead or alive. Though consider her her own law enforcement as she ain't afraid to own anyone and gladly accepts sparing lessons with Forest Rangers and the Dryad Detectives' toughest to sharpen her skills. But her relation with Apricot is a long and rough one.

As a traveler in the Ashfall Waste, Apricot meets with many dragons to discuss techniques in all sorts of fields and relations as well as scope the area for enemies and how to deal with them with Fire methods in mind. Once on a recon of the volcanic life, Apricot found himself with a culprit in some incendiary crimes that the Dryad Detectives traced to a fire organization. Though only there on gathering plans, Apricot found himself in combat with a fiery ridgeback fighting with Ruby. Ruby slashed her claws upon him but the ridgeback had backup waiting. Ruby had already been slightly injured by the ridgeback in her back leg so dodging oncoming fire blasts proved to be a challenge. Apricot was out of view of the ridgeback and his accomplices and gathered his breath attacks. He knew he would be exposed after his first attack so he had to make the most of one shot.He used a technique he had learned to hit the lava pool in such a way that the effect caused a wave of it to spill over onto the dragons' feet. In shock they took their eyes from the scene long enough for Apricot to stun the Ridgeback using a flower that grew near site, (fragrant orchids aren't smelling nice I'll tell ya that much).

Now one would think Ruby would be happy to see her Uncle/Cousin/ employee of her grandmother helping her out but instead Ruby knocked the wind out of Apricot mad at him for intruding on her target. Now this is where Apricot also got mad as not only had Ruby just punched him pretty hard for no reason but also since he told Ruby, his entrouge for the week, not to start any fights near his research area but of course Ruby just had to bring him out to the exact spot he would be and so he was quite mad that she thought he shouldn't interveen in the spot he was at. Well the attackers did soon shake off the lava (they were fire dragons after all) and resumed their breath attacks. Apricot shielded himself with his healer's mantle (not just for healing) ehilr Ruby used her arrows to take out two dragons. Then they were on the run as the ridgeback recovered and began their pursuit.

The chase went on for quite some time and Ruby didn't make anything easy as she always tried to take charge of the situtation but with little success. Eventually Apricot, the one she was suppose to be helping as per her assignment, finally lead them to the mines easily navigating with his knowledge of the area. The Ridgeback was quick on their heels however, though losing them, he knew they were within somewhere. Apricot and Ruby though did have a little one on one moment heart to heart where Ruby did apologize for punching Apricot as she was just mad she couldn't take them out by herself. Apricot understood as she loves her job with a burning passion and loves to help hunt down Dryad Detective targets that ellude capture. Also as Traveling Truffles meet many amazing clans, they sometimes request help with cases in their domain that Ruby attends too which just happened to be one of the cases of Hummingbird's Nature allies. Apricot understood why she broke from her current assignment and wouldn't rat her out, instead the too spent some time planning how to trap the Ridgeback in the mine long enough for an ally of theirs in the domain (thanks Apricot) could detain them.

Let's just say it was the day Apricot and Ruby really understood the power of the whip making it their primary tool for detaining enemies as well as a rope to get out of sticky situtations. A little lasso around a lever sure helps a ton load of sandbags and scaffolding to fall and pin enemies while the authorities are alerted. Since then, the forests in nearby domains have been more at ease and thank Ruby for her work (through a little bounty's reward eh). Since then, Apricot and Ruby love hanging out and putting their lassos to the test in rodeo competions. Careful, not all imperials like dragons on the horns.

Apricot has familiar friends too. His conflagrant ambassador can usually get him out of any heated arguments and misunderstanding with real hotheaded or angry fire dragons (known for their short fuses) as this familiar's words seem to always know what to say to deescalate a problem, unless you are partnered with Ruby the Radical who is too much of a hothead to let Apricot's familiar due her job.

In his free time and when he isn't with Ruby, Torch loves to meet up with the others in his guild to discuss their travels around the world. On occasion, Apricot can be seen with Golem and Curie practicng Sheriff roles in plays which Holly loves to join in as well always trying out for bartender as she has lots of experience with that already. Apricot's familiar also loves to act in these plays or just watch the Southern talk go on between the actors. Nocturne Curie sure can imitate quite well these days, just need a little work on Austrailian. Apricot also loves to visit his extended family, one beeing his Grand aunt at her Cat-nippers house where she takes care of many familiars with the help of Hazel her co-worker. Occasionally Ruby is there too since they love the "farm life" or how they call it. Yee-haw!
