The Solitary Beauty of the Search Strengthens Her.

______ Shiranui has a gift for finding those rare and sought-after spices, herbs and salts that the clan's dragons are always keen to purchase. Her many years of having walked the Shattered Plains means she has the capacity to travel kilometers of distance in order to source a particular leaf, seed or bark. But she charges heftily for the service, and why shouldn't she?

______ When a young dragon, she was bitten by an Onyx Cobra while trekking through the Crystalspine Reaches. Rather than view the resulting gembond as a nuisance, she uses it to grow a very striking yellow crocus against her own hide - they just need a little dirt and water to yield high-quality stigmas of saffron. A chef is lucky to get some of that... and quite a bit lighter in the purse!

______ Except for her familiar, she travels alone... and that is just fine.
