Biography

Snapshot: A clever young nocturne plagued by visions he doesn’t understand, and that the clan’s oracle doesn’t either, Noctis has trouble resting properly and is often sleepy and exhausted. He’s slowly been growing nervous as well, feeling like he sees a ghostly apparition through his many eyed gaze.

Background: One night not long after the clan had arrived in the Icefields, a mysteriously robed dragon arrived with a young Nocturne in her claws. After consulting with the council, and Brin in particular, she left him there before going on her way; informing them all that he was the heir to some secret power, but refusing to go into greater detail.

He’s grown accustomed to his place among the Frostfound and was growing comfortable, until he began to catch the merest glimpses of a strange and ghostly dragon just out of the corner of his eyes. He find’s Devise’s presence extremely unsettling.

Secret: His gift is a peculiar sort of necromantic psychometry, the ability to see imprints the dead left, bits of soulstuff, and eventually -- to manipulate it. The apparition is caused by a dead Pearlcatcher’s pearl frozen into the iceberg, more of it’s sense of self invoked by the closeness of his gift. Eventually, Vivid will theorize that Noctis could potentially prevent Emperor's from rising on a battlefield by handling their essence before they get the chance to fuse.

Goals: Decent night’s sleep, learn out what is going on with himself.
