By far the strangest of the clan is that of Nimue. If you ask her story, she will tell you: a dragon born ashore the lands of lightning, a thunderstorm lashing at the coast when she crawled out of her egg and saw the world for the first time; awestruck by the power she saw wielded, she knew from that moment what she was meant to be. Nimue is respectful of that power, and never will she forget the fear with which her dam trembled as she held her egg close or the way her sire guarded them against the weeping skies. After she struck out on her own, she became a protector of sorts that struck like lightning herself -- quick and merciless.

Despite having joined the clan sometime ago, she hardly interacts with them. Nimue finds the blistering winds and sweeping gusts too much for her tastes, and prefers to wander on her lonesome in less sweeping gales. The night is her element and midnight her hour -- she appears on the road at the darkest hour of the darkest night, shrouded and enigmatic, to guide wanderers to safety. Her presence is proceeded only by a bright lamp and the swarm of fireflies that cluster around her constantly.
