The Golden Fiddle Tavern
A lively tavern found by tumultuous souls past midnight - but only if the soul is seeking rest and recovery. It exists in the liminal space between the material world and ethereal world and so is nearly impossible to find, but its doors are always open to those going through transitions or at a crossroads in their lives. Many dragons, both alive and dead, check in for a short stay, but few end up choosing to leave...
Main Tavern - The dragons that occupy the Tavern are a varied group, from restless souls refusing to pass to the next life, to living dragons seeking safety and community, to pioneering researchers of new therapies and dimensional magic. Very few sought out the Tavern, simply finding themselves outside its doors one day, but the sense of love and belonging offered by Lok and his community quickly convinced them to stay.
Sosdothur's Cult - Sosdothur believes she was born to be someone great, to achieve a feat that none had attempted before - become a sentient, fully controlled Emperor. A symbol of unquestioned power, a leader by right and might, a beast feared even by the gods... a vessel strong enough to contain the weight of her ambitions. She has amassed a team of sordid Imperial advisers and lackeys of other breeds to assist in research, as well as a following of lonely, wayward souls simply looking for somewhere to belong. With her overwhelming charisma and promises, it was all to easy for Sosdothur to persuade them to take part in dubious experiments.

TuathThe Demon Domain
In the liminal space between worlds, one may come upon winding paths through dimensions yet undiscovered. One is the Demon Domain, populated by creatures that live in a strict hierarchy and exist only to uphold their Ideal. Recently, some curious mages have made contact with this new world. They intend to examine the unique magic and abilities of the demons, but they are not the only ones seeking to study the life in other dimensions...
The Demons - The Demons are composed of the elemental energy that granted them life. For example, a Shadow-aligned demon is composed of ichor, while a Lightning-aligned demon is composed of electrical sparks and plasma. Most represent an Ideal, such as Ambition, and serve higher-ranked Demons in a rigidly structured society. They are almost constantly at war with one another, but have recently paused the unending battles following their first contact with the mortal mages and the Fey. Perhaps an alliance would be a wise step toward progress?
The Mages - Led by Zutiir, some mages in the Tavern have split off from Sosdothur's cult to pursue their own aims. Their magic is dubious at best, but they seek new knowledge and discovery for the sake of exploration itself, rather than power and subjugation. One desperately lonely night, Zutiir called into the void of countless dimensions a bit too loudly, and severed a channel from the Demon Domain to the Tavern.
The Lost Fey Prince - In the vacuum of space and time caused by Zutiir's ritual, a tiny Fey prince was unexpectedly pulled into the riptide between worlds. He passed briefly through the Demon Domain before arriving at the Tavern - with no way home. Zutiir cares for him as best he can, but Sizaan wants nothing more than to return home to his mothers' warm arms.
