qHh09a4.gif Chamomile has never known what it meant to truly dream. She has seen others dreams, sure, but one of her own she has never experienced. She learned to master the ability of altering the worlds she stepped into from a very young age, the dreamscape her playground, the Goddess of those lands. But when she doesn't dreamwalk? She comes to standing alone in a room full of empty darkness, each step resounding around the room despite there being no barriers in sight until it sounded thundering to her sensitive ears. Despite this unusual form of silence, it never felt as though she was alone. She could feel eyes training her every move, judging her with a type of scrutiny that made her body prickle with unease.

It was this room that made her hate sleeping. She almost never did unless there was someone around to slip into the dreams of, whether they knew she was there or not. Any nightmare was better than that room where she had no power, completely and utterly alone and yet...not so.

Using her ability to enter other's dreams is seen by some as an invasion of privacy, but she sees nothing wrong with what she is doing.
After all, she had the ability to put a bad dream back on course to good, to save the body from the reliving of bad memories. Its not as if she would tell anyone their secrets anyway. Not unless she had good reason to.

Despite her slight insomnia, dreamwalking takes energy so the rest she does get tends to be counterintuitive, through her practices Chamomile finds that her powers extend even further than her fathers- She not only walks the dreams of others and can change them, she can also cause them. A simple kiss to the forehead and they fall to the ground fast asleep, a canvas on which she can paint whatever story she wishes. This can be useful when a dragon is agitated or sick, easing them into a peaceful slumber.
-
In fact, she can remeber quite a few times she has ended a fight rather quickly by simply kissing them on the forehead. They would look confused for a few seconds, then fall into a peaceful slumber. That would give her enough time to get away, as she usually left the dragon to wake up and find their own way home. She did this with anyone she disarmed in a fight.

Exept for Delphinium.

He didn't intend to hurt her, he just thought she was someone else, a recently exiled dragon. She found his clan by tracking his scent to a small icy flat. It had deep cracks running along it, which upon closer inspection revealed Delphinium's home village. She found the first dragon she saw, an odd Tundra with silks along her body. Once hearing of the Skydancer, some dragons that Chamomile didn't even know were there flew away to him.

A short visit to make sure he was okay after being left in the snow turned into a longer visit to help him recover. Three weeks and some letters to her parents later, Chamomile was now a resident of the Rime Petal village, working 5 days a week at the library. Delphinium was like a father to her, and everyone was kind and welcoming. She had a familiar, and friends.
She was happy.
