Excited voices fill the air as tiny hatchlings rush into the cave room belonging to the eldest member of the clan. The excited chatter comes to a hushed stop as they all file in and stop in front of the waiting elder. She looks them over with a soft smile, happy to see the eager spirits of the hatchlings in her clan. She knows what they've gathered for, and she's eager to give them what they want. She watches as they all settle into a comfortable position, then opens her mouth and begins to speak; "Listen carefully, for I have a great story to tell. It is the story of my home, and the story of yours. It's a story to be carried down for generations, so pay attention and never forget that from which you came." |

Story In a land far from here there once was a dragon who liked to collect stories. She would travel the lands and do her best to memorize every dragons story that she came across. She took pride in her ability to tell others stories, a hobby of hers that spread love for everyone and knowledge of things others my not see as important, but to her were the most important stories ever told. But as time drew on, she began to grow tired of the same stories surrounding her; all so similar in the way they were told. Dragons stayed to their clans, lived their lives where they were born, no one went out and lived a story anymore. It was beginning to bore te story collecting dragon. She needed something that would give her the story of the life time, and she wouldn't stop til she found it. It wasn't until she was in her late mid years that she found the dragon she was looking for. He found his way into her life by accident, on a his first solo job and already lost. ... |
