P E R S O N A L I T Y
Aruhe is the oldest of Halcyon and Arabella’s four hatchlings, and proud as a peacock of her piebald colors. Her best friend is her sister Ivesce, who she often ‘translates’ for when Ivesce doesn’t deign to speak. Aruhe can err on the side of snobby, and is boisterous, stubborn and a very intense personality. She might as well be the clan gossip as an official role, for nothing happens without Aruhe knowing, and she never sees or hears anything without passing it on to her sister. Aruhe is airily indifferent to people’s opinions of her and her sister and usually has a verbally vicious retort ready for anyone who insults her, and especially one for anyone who insults Ivesce. She will always tell someone that Ivesce doesn’t like them far too cheerfully, and seems to enjoy being a little devil’s advocate. She carries herself well and is cowed by nothing and no one, and does not suffer fools gladly. Unlike Ivesce, Aruhe can easily be goaded into a hissy fit if you know how to push her buttons, and she’s often spitting at someone for messing up anyway. Aruhe is outspoken (about her own good qualities) and supercilious, haughty and very overpowering in person. She is rather temperamental and very hard to please, and her domineering personality has sent the other young males scampering many times, as she is high-maintenance and more than a little prissy. She’s also a firecracker and not at all afraid to throw down, sometimes a little too eager to seat another dragon, but she’s very clever and always knows when it would be foolish to pick a fight. She and Ivesce enjoy hunting together, but she also can be found snuggling Iozefina, as she places family very highly. She met her Murkbottom Gull familiar, who she promptly named "Borb", when she was a hatchling, and they've been inseparable ever since. His name has since been changed to “Chopper”, because she apparently feels ‘Borb’ is a stupid name.
