ORION " The stars above can tell us so much, and I've just begun to hear them out. " A dreamy soul, Orion lives for the stars and planets. Each night, he heads out with his trusty living quill and telescope, hoping to map out the Icefield's constellations above by hand. It is his dream for his work to educate beings for decades to come. Having been immersed in education from a young age, Orion is formal in his mannerisms and speech. He is rather superstitious and lives life by a set of arbitrary rules, such as colour-coding his wardrobe and refusing to drink alcohol out of principle. He's also easily distracted by anything that catches his fancy, much to the chagrin of his friends when he runs off to investigate. Orion was adopted as an egg from a seaside town and hatched in the Shifting Expanse. His family was a small one, and both his parents were scholars. From his youth Orion was immersed in learning, and he soon fell in love with it. When he came of age, he went off to a university to study, his journey funded by his parents. He eventually applied to several year-long study program which sent him to a remote part of the Southern Icefield and to the Frigusterram. There, he was to map out the stars from this new area. He regularly sends the results of his work back. He has quite the knack for cards, and frequently wins against his friends. The only dragon he's never managed to best is Tafiya. RELATIONS SCRIBBLES - Scribbles was purchased from a traveling merchant for a hefty sum. The quill is rather stubborn, and Orion has to fight it to get it to take diction for him. CADFAEL - Orion gets along perfectly with Cadfael; the old Nocturne is always willing to listen to his new discoveries, and Orion enjoys keeping him company while fishing.
