Joy is a dragon of incredibly malevolent nature. Born to two loving pacifists, she basked in their adoration and enjoyed their attention until it was averted by the birth of her younger sister. Angered by this change and jealous of her sibling, she sought to kill the hatchling, but could never take the chance due to her parents' constant hovering. Once they were both grown, however, her chance came while they were left alone. Striking against her sister, she brutally mauled her and scraped against her body with her teeth and claws. Unfortunately for Joy, her murder attempt was cut short when her parents came across the scene of the crime, and chased her into exile. Angered further for having been caught, she wished for death upon their names and dove into the world unknown.

Joy learned of magic, something her parents kept from her, and was able to transform her haggard appearance into one that was sweet, kind, approachable. Her beady, blood-thirsty eyes of red were transformed into gentle, large eyes of blue, her scraggly black hair became soft, long and prismatic, and she was donned in clothes of white and silver. The light shone on her as if she was a truly innocent and benevolent creature, and it came to a point where even beasts lowered their weapons in her presence.
21131.png Her familiar, however, shows her true nature clear as day. Those who wish to know Joy's original form should come to her- if they are not attacked first, that is. Joy is able to speak to her familiar, and they are incredibly close despite their murderous intent. Were Joy to show weakness around the kelpie, it would no doubt make an attempt to kill her; and if the kelpie showed weakness to Joy, she would no doubt attempt to kill her as well, if not to silence it from whispering her secrets.
