To my dearest friend, Ashfall

It has been ages since we have last seen one another, how is our family? I pray that you are all well and safe. This clan's Seer told me that you were stranded in a dark place and that my words may help ease that burden. I'm not sure what to write here so I will instead tell you of the clan that has offered me protection.

The Ahote isn't necessarily a small clan but they are a band of interesting individuals. Kankakee and Kachina are kind but strong leaders and they have welcomed me as a high ranking official, they have granted me authority over a small faction that I lead with Jareth. He… is a handful. Nothing like you and the others, but it seems he was once a king so it's fitting that we rule as one.

I have met many interesting characters, dragons with many forms, gods and demigods, witches, and shade touched creatures. They all live here peacefully, I had thought it was a secret from all the dragon deities but it seems that it's not; the divine know this group is here. They are living happily and safely, all because the Arcanist finds them interesting and thus protects them and others like them. Kankakee once said "We are the things forgotten by time and because of that we are favored. But being favored doesn't always invite good". I'm starting to believe that he was right. I wonder if the reason I attracted so much misfortune that maybe I'm not exactly a normal dragon myself.
