Biography

Snapshot: Anxious in social situations, but as steely as his name in battle or times of stress, Steelmane tends to stutter when speaking in the usual draconic tongue. He can speak with authority in the coatl tongue, and can cast very fluidly, though he’s not particularly innovative with his magic. Despite how strange he finds the cold, he likes the shining of ice, the idea of preservation opposed to rot alone.

Background: Steelmane is descended from several mingling bloodlines of exiled coatl, those cast out for being too grey or too ghostly in coloring. His fledgling years in the clan were a patchwork of anxiety over the constant tensions around him and excitement at the simpler problems going into battle laid out, and though he grew into himself as a respected mage -- he never outgrew his unease at tension in the lair.

While he never entirely warmed to Brin, not quite trusting the ephemera of visions, he's supportive of the clan's new direction and leadership. More than supportive, really, the new structure is something that’s provided a great deal of relief for him.

Goals: Steelmane would like to have a family someday, and a mate. In the meanime he’s somewhat eager to have a real battle under the clan’s new banner.
