Tadeo

As genial as his mother, Iridium, but much more involved in the workings of the clan, Tadeo is everybody's big brother. If any of the other clan members have a problem, Tadeo is more than happy to help or to give advice, whether or not he's been asked. He enjoys helping other dragons with their troubles, whether it be in a dispute with a fellow clan member, help with a building project or the most efficient way to organize a hoard. He is always sure he knows the right way to go about a task and is glad to pitch in with almost any project, both with suggestions and physical assistance. Bossy and a bit overbearing, he can rub some dragons of the clan the wrong way, but he does at least get things done.

He has appointed himself the caretaker of his eclectic and troublesome family, as his mother is not usually paying attention, and his father tends to react with melodrama or hysterics to any sort of crisis. He is quite fond of his family, though under no illusions about their shortcomings, and tries to even out their moods a little, with varying degrees of success.

What he inevitably spends the most time doing, however, is trailing after his sister, Waverly, and cleaning up her messes. Impulsive, brash, and just a bit rude, Waverly is always getting into scrapes her brother feels he has to bail her out of. He does this with a tight smile and a long-suffering sigh, apologizing to other dragons on her behalf and forcing her to apologize too. He will tell her when he thinks she's gone too far and has sometimes been forced to sit on her (literally) until she promises to behave. He can't understand why Waverly seems to resent this so much. After all, he's just trying to help.

He thinks that someday he might like to settle down and raise a family of his own, but he's in no particular hurry. He doesn't think his family is quite ready to do without him, and he'll be there for them as long as they need his help.
