Marea

Marea is a vindictive, malicious creature. Once a live, breathing dragon she has become a creature of nightmares and takes her anger of her change out on the souls of the innocent. With her wicked personality she has little to no friends as she is quite quick to anger and can be described as heartless with no compassion.

Marea is a cynical, impulsive dragon despite her anger and malicious behaviour she isn't always the brightest bulb in the box, combined with her weak will she is quite easy to manipulate which ended up perfect for her mate. Luciano was what many would call a genius which makes it easy to control Marea into doing his bidding.

Though it's not brought up in conversation much, outside of the nightmare realm she notices the stares and the whispers, notes of anger or of hatred. The superstition around coatls like her grows more quickly each and everyday due to her personality and abilities; listening to the words as their venom sink deep, Marea's anger grows more and more each day never noticing that its her own fault that this is happening she is much to stuck in the past to allow this new clan anywhere near her which only continues the cycle of hate that she feels.

Born to two coatls Marea was a sickly child with a wild imagination, because of this she was left alone quite often as many didn’t want to become sickly like her or listen to her imagination as many of the dragons believed her reality to be warped due to it. So when Marea started seeing a creature dark as night with long, stick, thin fingers, pure white teeth as long as the creatures fingers and as sharp as a wendigos claw, with shattered wings that resembled cracked glass, no one believed her when she tried telling them about it, chalking it up to the imagination of a dying coatl so they ignored her and left her to her ramblings never caring for her panic stricken face or tear filled eyes brimmed with fear.

With no one to believe her Marea was left alone; each night waking to the terrible creature hovering over her as its long elongated nails reached for her draining her of the only strength she has. This continues for many more nights each time leaving Marea more and more weak her once sickly, but still bright blue feathers turning a dull silver matching much to the moon while her stomach started to turn a weak green from her constant sickness. This continued until the creature could no longer pull anymore from her as Marea had nothing left for it to take from her, the small coatl couldn’t help, but be relieved believing it was all over that she would die and pass on no longer to be in pain, but it was far from over.

When she next woke she found herself locked in eternal darkness it was all she could see for miles around and she turned she saw it, wings, much like the creature had, attached to her own sickly white wings were dark blackish-purple wings much like a butterflys, but cracked like glass and thin like paper. Marea snarled snapping forward she ripped and tore at the wings, but when she looked again they were their same as before looking completely untouched as if she never even tore them, she was silent for a moment before howling in pain….knowing she will never escape her new fate.
