Uotcha

"An envoy of the Capital, yet you carry yourself for battle. If so, you cannot truly be of that city of cowards..." U~otcha spoke with a growl as she watched the larger dragon with a suspicious look, his green eyes and ivory markings looking intrusive against his black coat.
"If you think you have a chance of taking the Capital, you're wrong." Vasileios told her cautiously, though he had size on her, the way Uotcha held herself was admittedly intimidating.
"Many graves in the west are filled with those who said as much, with braver words, not backed by strength." She said quickly, her sharp teeth baring at the younger dragon- Deabin followed her lead behind her as he lifted his head and bared his two rows of teeth.
Vasileios stammered inaudibly for a moment but then forced a smile, not wanting to back down, to show weakness- he had heard the stories of her might. "Maybe you're willing to listen to reason?"
"...I see you fight with words, like all beneath the flag of the Capital. Let us hope your skill with weapons proves greater." U~otcha threatened through clenched teeth.
"It is not the strength of the Capital that will slow you, it is their weakness." Vasileios quickly barked out as he sensed the situation escalate so quickly, how she seemed so ready to rip his throat out.
"Your weakness? You seek to thwart me by claiming Ombra Ardens is too strong for you?" Uotcha scoffed out, her head snapping back to raise her chin in a prideful irritation.
"The Capital's weakness is it's size- it'll take your entire army to hold Ombra Ardens if a war is to rage. Even if you win, the sheer size of the Capital and Ombra Adrens makes controlling it too difficult, and would eventually doom Ombra Ardens as a whole." Vasileios explained, his eyes darting between her and Daebin's unwavering violet eyes.
The room fell silent for a long moment, Uotcha thinking. Vasileios looked between the two, his foot shuffling as he went to shift but stopped short when Daebin let out a low growl.
"Ombra Ardens is but a place... I will not have it be the gravestone of our people - whether quickly, or as you describe, slowly... by attrition." She finally spoke, nearly making Vasileios sigh in relief.
"There is victory in wisdom." He hesitated to say.
"As for wisdom... there is wisdom in your words, Vasileios. I shall not remain here forever... On that day, the strength of the capital shall be tested. If the Capital is one day filled with ones such as you, perhaps it shall be a worthy fight, indeed."
"If you feel that war matters that much, perhaps you will see differently in time."
"My coming would have saved them, set those people free in ways they cannot see. One day you will understand, or you will die trying to stand for what you believe. Just make sure you're dying for your own beliefs and not someone else's."
