Mother of the Garden

She a Child of the Lifebreather, and her magic fuels the continuous cycle of growth within the Protector's Land. Her sister, Mesmur, fell victim to the Dark Ones during a battle. She misses her greatly. She reassures her brother (Zagoth) that it was not his fault, but she isn't sure that he believes that.

She can be found in a clearing deep within the Dark Wood. The forest that surrounds her is full of "walking trees" (plant familiars) and other Protectors who live in the thick forest. They are not hostile unless you are hostile towards the Protectors or wish to harm the Mother of the Garden.

She moves very little and rests in a position similar to that of Imperial hatchlings. When Mellaniphe is not moving, she resembles a moss-covered statue. If you call out to her, she will wake up, and speak to you with sluggish movements. She is not against speaking to others, she really does enjoy the company. A dragoness as ancient as her just simply cannot get around as easily as you would think.
