The dragon that informed Salem about the discovery of the trees. Soot got the impression that the trees, called The Elm and The Gate, are incredibly dangerous. What the heck could be so dangerous about trees?
The Protectors quickly showed themselves to the rest of Diamoor and claimed that they owned the area. After running the intruders out, The Protectors scolded them for digging so close to their land. They never were able to get a good look at the trees.
Since then, they have calmed down. Soot guesses it was the shock of seeing fresh faces that freaked them out.
(As a hatchling, Nightcloud brought him back after one of his trips to the Venomshroud)
Charge: Diamoor Mines (he keeps them structurally sound and protects them from possible smugglers)
