HESPERUS

Bitter, Strict, Clever

Hesperus, a dragon born into the Milky-way Galaxy has made his landing on a planet full of cryptic beast he can keep as a pet, and other dragons like him, and so much different. He traveled to the Ice land that is Snowquall Tundra which was the closest land he could find most like space, and settled there as a way to protect him from rivaling and threatening species. He made his presence obvious, fighting everything that neared his cave, even beast he knew could kill him. He lived in his cave alone for a long time, dragons in his area were intrigued by his markings which have just reached the land, along with many other galactic dragons. He has another rather special trait, which are his glowing eyes. Both his star-covered body, his silky uniform, and his glowing eyes made him the more mysterious. His solitude life was perfect for him, until he bet the dragon Naoz.

MEETUP

He was adventuring the long deserted Tundra, bitter winds made his eyes hurt, but he kept moving. Snow rained onto the land, something he was far too familiar with by this point. He was digging in the snow that was the surface of the ground, wondering what could have grown here before these sudden blizzards erased all life that had grown here before. He had to stop thinking and move on, as he was getting tired. Behind him, he dragged gatherings of broken money bottles, and various gemstones he had found under the stone. He wondered why so many riches were lost in the snow, but he distracted himself from what could have been a disturbing and unfortunate truth. Shaking his head, he carried on. His legs were getting tired, his eyelids getting heavy. How long was he out there? He noticed a figure in the distance, he knew it was a dragon, but stayed focused. She had beautiful black feathers with green highlights, but the one thing that stood out to him the most was her celestial star markings.

Allowing his eyes to focus on the strange dragon, he stared. He noticed she was staring at him as well, and this confused him. How long had she noticed he was there with her in these long, empty fields? Their gaze were locked on each other, their eyes only paying attention to the others. He knew there was something unique about her, that she had also been born in space, but he couldn't tell where she had come from, and though that was an easy discovery for native dragons, her location was impossible to find out. She closed her eyes after a long staring contest and flew away into the snowy skies, fading into the storm of the atmosphere. He was very curious on who this was, and wanted to do more searching. He flew to where she was and smelled around. He couldn't find anything. He headed back to his cave, his mind racing on who this woman could be. The next morning, he headed out quickly, hoping to find the same dragon again. It wasn't long after walking where he saw her standing there in the same place before, but she was looking at something, and he slowly walked over to see if he could also investigate. He was about 2 meters away from her when she glanced at him, and since he was closer, he could see her better. Her eyes were shining, their icy eyes glimmering in an uncommon way. Those green highlights weren't highlights, yet they were fireflies, swirling around her still body. She looked scared, not scared of him, but of her discovery. "Greetings.." she spoke slowly, still scared. "I'm Naoz. I..." -she glanced back at what she found. Curiosity got to Hesperus, and he stepped up, looking at what she had found. His eyes widened, he was starring at the skull and neck of a dragon that he knew was at least 4 times his size. The dragon had 4 holes where eyes should be, he could only think of a mirror dragon for a connection to this. Something was different though, their skull had large teeth, which was expected, but even for its size, he had to think it had been once a snake. A four eyed snake? How could that even live? A creature this big should have lived in the snowy lands, but here are the two strangers, staring at the head that was much larger than themselves. They looked at each other, and Hesperus mumbled simple words. "Naoz... I'm Hesperus. Nice meeting you."
