A skinless skydancer with bloodstained feathers. Though he is sometimes referred to as "captain" this is a tongue-in-cheek term of endearment at best, and an insult at worst. He was once the captain of a ship, a fishing-boat-turned-mercenary-vessel, it was robust and versatile and managed with powerful water magic by the captain's crew. They specialized in the treacherous waters where the Wandering Contagion tumbled over the cliffs at the edge of the Sea of a Thousand Currents.

This was until the captain took a job which brought him into conflict with the King of Singing Blood. Some think it might have been a trick - not a real job at all, but just an indirect way of getting rid of the captain, his crew, and his ship. If that was the intent, it was only partially successful.

Now he serves almost as slave to the King, and gathers resources from the rivers of the Scarred Wasteland, and occasionally conducts raiding and trading in the Sea of a Thousand Currents - his old ship rising out of the feted water near the Wandering Contagion when he flies out over the sea and summons it for the King. His old crew all twisted and mutated husks of dragons still manage the operation of the ship, waking from nightmare-plagued sleep when the ship breaks the surface of the water.
