Hatchlings born to The Stricken are trained in warfare and survival skills. Growing up seeing the Gladekeeper and Plaguebringer worshiped side by side means they are surprisingly openminded to new ideas, but tend to be blasé about death and violence which can come across as callous to dragons from other flights.
Salt’s parents were both chefs and the exquisite food they supplied with him has given him what he calls a 'discerning pallet' and what everyone else calls ' extreme pickyness' . He has extended this attitude to every area of his life being very particular about what clothing, music, and company he deems acceptable becoming very difficult when he doesn't get his way.
