xxxRespite and war. Few individuals seek out the clan of the wake for it is a place of death, scrimmage, and drought. The few vagabonds that drift in to the clan are often exiled from their homes, forced to nest themselves in the dirt and blood. Ceres is no exception. Once an adopted resident of Viridian Wetlands, Ceres had an uncanny attachment to her birth element. She was adept in fire-starting.
xxxThis power was used for nothing but convenience to her adopted mother of the swamp. She would light candles, campfires, and could even warm a bath. Yet still, the denizens of this place were wary of the outsider. When a devastating wildfire broke out only one person could be blamed. And so Ceres traveled south.
xxxIt was a taxing and arduous journey, making it to Ashfall Waste is no easy feat. She would have made it eventually, if she had not stopped to rest at a certain oasis.
