"The Awakened ones do not create sickly, weakened mistakes! Lightweaver sees to it that we Awakened only create greatness!" His father spat at him, the barbs in his tongue hooked in harder.

Born to a clan of imperials versed in the art of war and worship of the Lightweaver, he had his life cut out for him. He studied holy magic under the tutelage of his mother, showing a naturally powerful talent. Despite all the training he recieved, it was never enough for him, as he had to beg his father to teach him how to physically fight. He was born weaker physically, despite not showing any sort of weakness in his appearance, his disadvantage came from within. As he grew older, he trained as hard as he could in order to hide this, as his father made it clear to him that any sign of weakness meant rejection from the Lightweaver herself.
He had only three friends, triplets from a fire clan, unaffiliated to his clan.
One day before his Death Day initiation, he hears from his mother of news that an Emperor rampage. He never sees Solarius, Lazarus, and Tiassale ever again.
His name and earrings chosen after having slain two emperors and succumbing to his grave injuries, he transforms into Oreios, the Yama Raja (King of the Underworld).
(He can't attribute the kills to solely himself, as it took an army of Awakened to take them both down, but he struck lucky enough to gain the fatal blows.)
