► ABOUT
This grumpy dragon is the Oneironauts' Seeker. Legrasse is exceptionally good at sniffing out fear (both literally and figuratively) while lucid dreaming. He uses this ability to track down dragons who are likely to be preyed on by Ouroboros. As dreamwalkers go, he's quite clumsy, and many times the dreams he travels through crumble around him, alerting his quarry to his presence and giving them time to get away. Because of this, he generally has to work closely with more skilled dreamwalkers such as Mana and Netanya.

His own dreams are characterized by bold, bright colors and patterns. Birds are a recurring motif -- curiously, not images of them, but drifts of feathers, fluttering wings, and songs from invisible creatures.

In the daytime, he mostly stays in his own office in the Commercial Wing, where he works as a private investigator. He specializes in genealogy, using his skills to track down dragons who are likely to be related to each other. Like many Tundras, he has a keen sense of smell. He also has synesthesia and has learned to link certain scents with equally distinct sounds, sensations, and images to improve his memory.

Legrasse is a stern and grumpy drake. Not very approachable, and short-tempered with all dragons, no matter their age or disposition. Despite this, he is well-liked by his clanmates for being reliable, trustworthy, and unfailingly loyal. He is usually seen puffing black smoke from his nostrils and jaws, a habit that superstitious dragons say is the mark of a true Fear-Eater.

► Legrasse is a Tapirbebe. Subspecies lore by Nikomas:
Tapirbebes are as striking in appearance as they are in personality. If anyone's going to be ruffling feathers with a fiery temper, it'll likely be one of these ember-streaked hotheads. These tundras took on a different type of evolution on how to deal with the heat compared to their ancestral siblings; the flambebes. The tapir gened tundras adapted faster than their counterparts and managed to thrive closer to volcanoes where only the richest plantations survived. After many generations their colours changed from being only blue to being blue with hot colours covering their wings and belly. Maybe Flamecaller changed their colours to warn others about their hot headed tempers, or maybe their fur has started to catch fire; who knows.

Old folklores claimed that these dragons ate fears due to how stubborn and fearless they are. Many fire dragons still pass the story around and some still believe it, waiting to see if a nearby tapirbebe exhales dark smoke, for legend states it's a sign that the free 'meal' has been accepted.

Mana | Colleague, Friend
A frequent Dreamwalking partner of Legrasse, Mana constructs dream worlds for him to do his investigations in. While Legrasse is as short with her as he is with everyone else, their respect for each other is evident, and they make a very good team.

Netanya | Colleague, Friend
Legrasse had to train Netanya to pursue Ouroboros through other dragons' dreams, and she didn't always perform as sharply as he would have liked. As a result, he is a lot grumpier with her than he is with other dragons. He has had to bail her out of trouble a few times, and while she is more competent now, he still seems to regard her as a hatchling in need of guidance.

Khonsu | Colleague, Friend
Given how practical he is, it's surprising Legrasse easily accepted working with a spirit such as Khonsu. They mutually respect each other, though Khonsu is of course not exempt from Legrasse's frequent bursts of temper.

Ouroboros | Quarry, Foe
Though this Shade fragment doesn't always leave her host's dreams to victimize other dragons, Legrasse has hunted her many times, and he has learned to recognize when she is about to take flight. Perhaps because of his fearlessness, Ouroboros finds it difficult to attack him, and more often than not their interactions consist of her fleeing from him, taunting him all the while.
