Superiority

Superiority named herself. She hatched in a cave, alone, surrounded by the shattered eggs of her siblings and their lifeless bodies. No parents were there to help her into the world, so she helped herself. The only way out of the cave was up, so until she was strong enough to climb and fly out, she ate bugs that wandered through the cave. While there, she entertained herself by collecting rocks and creating solitaire games with them. She probably would have stayed there, had she not seen through the opening the beautiful outline of a new moon. That image kept her going until she finally made her way out into the chill night, flopping on the ground to bathe in the moonlight. It was that night that she named herself, singing to the stars themselves that she was the best of the best.
She raised herself after that, relying on her wits and instincts, still entertaining herself with invented games. Soon after she reached adulthood, she met another dragon named Eloquence, who she initially teamed up with planning to betray him, but then she discovered that he designed board games. Finally she had a name for the games she loved. And with that, the clan was formed.
