Biography
Dark Dweller QUIRK(S): Night is allergic to sunlight. When she is outside in the daytime, her body becomes burned and itchy. Should she stay out too long, her flesh will actually become cancerous and die. "These things bring you to reality as to how fragile you are; at the same moment you are doing something that nobody else is able to do. The same moment that you are seen as the best, the fastest and somebody that cannot be touched, you are enormously fragile."

Darkness and gloom often frighten many. Night, however, is most at home when the sun is far from the sky. Hatched under the cover of the dark hours, Night didn't find out until the next morning that sun was her enemy. The brighter the rays became as dawn led into day, the more the little dragon's body itched and burned. It finally got so bad she was wailing in pain and fled for the nearest shelter. Convinced that only an evil being could be repulsed and damaged by the light of the sun, her family and community drove her out. Traveling under the moon and hiding during the day, Night made her way far from her homeland. Eventually the running from became running to when the guardian realized she could feel a pull in her heart. Knowing that the feeling meant she was being guided on Search, she followed it eagerly. One evening, Night saw some ruins in the distance and felt the pull harder than ever. Making her way toward them, she almost literally stumbled over a gaoler sitting alone in the dark watching the sky. Night apologized profusely, and the two ended up talking about the stars in space until dawn was threatening. When Night explained her affliction, her new friend - Pluto - invited her back to his lair. The new lair was a perfect fit for a lonely dark-bound wanderer. Others had been drawn here just like she had, and there was much mystery to look into. Night's abilities to see far and well in the dark makes her an amazing lookout while most of the lair is sleeping. And her lowlight vision, comfort levels in caves, and happiness at being considered a gift instead of a bad omen make her an ideal partner when others need someone to help them explore new caverns in the lair's territory. In addition, Pluto spends most of his nights awake studying the stars. The two have settled into a guardian/charge relationship and both feel stronger because of it. Together they will help the lair grow and prosper... once they solve the mystery beneath the trapdoor.
