Although it is an honour to be accepted into the ranks of any Shepherd's flock at Deity's Rest, it would be remiss not to acknowledge the acclaim that one Shepherd in particular holds over all others. Katharos is something of a Deity's Rest folk hero, having resided at and contributed to the growth of the clan for longer than most anyone else can say they have. Taking one look at him, most would assume him to have been born somewhere in the sandy wastes of the Shifting Expanse, given the sparks and reverberating hum emanating from his weapons and armour. But, peering closer into his engineer's goggles, you would see his eyes reflect a birth in Dragonhome; a fact that his muscular build and sure-footedness on the ground only serves to corroborate. His interest in the Lightning flight paired with a mind forever grappling with questions of science and technology married to form a weapons engineer that would envy the most skilled crafts-dragons of the Ashfall Waste. The magical essence of a flight siphoned and infused into all manner of swords, shields, lances and bows - this is what Katharos dedicates his studies to. If one is lucky enough to be assigned to Katharos' flock, they may very well find themselves equipped with the most wonderous armaments previously only thought possible in the realm of dreams, giving them an enviable edge over their foes. Having shown himself to not only be an inventor pushing the limits of his field, but also masterful in the practical use of his weapons and gear, his appointment as Head of the Guard was a natural decision. As the rolling expanse of Dragonhome becomes more dangerous with each passing day, the residents of the Monastery rest easy knowing Katharos plays no small part in clan security. He has little dealings with The High Chimera as long as he carries out his job without incident. He well understands that hearing and seeing little of Trajan, the leader of The High Chimera, is the best indicator of a job well done.═══════════════════════════════════════════════
