RAJA Plague Ambassador |
 "Please, don't leave..." |
 Once a deepseer, Raja had resided in the domain of the Tidelord. He was extremely devoted to his diety, and would sit underwater for days at a time in a state of deep meditation just to hear his voice. It was a great comfort to him. So, when the Tidelord fell silent, he grew anxious. A great turmoil overtook him, grieving the loss of his eternal father, his greatest friend, his most profound comfort no longer spoke to him and the worry engulfed him like the gullet of a great serpent, driving him to sleeplessness for weeks on end. He was scared, confused, and even maybe angry at his diety for abandoning him. The time came when Raja had had enough of the silence, and enough of the worry. He resigned from his position as a deepseer and left behind all of his friends and his clan to find new purpose within another flight. |
He flew to many regions and yet none seemed to call to him in quite the same way. As he grew more desperate, he turned to the Scarred Wasteland. The ground smelled of rotten flesh and bones littered everything, and the dragons were not all too welcoming, but he trudged on. He walked, and he perched himself on the edges of the Wyrmwound, gazing deep into its wretched depths. The heat burned his nose and the stench made his whiskers curl, yet he did not flinch or shy away. In fact, he felt drawn to it. He felt the need to reach into the depths of contagion, as if it were calling to him. He did so with great enthusiasm, as he knew now his new purpose. The vat of disease engulfed him and cradled him warmly, and as he let the infection consume him, he heard the voice of the Plaguebringer, and it was then he knew he had found his home. |

 Raja is a very anxious and shy individual, mostly keeping to himself, only speaking when spoken to, even within the ESLF base where he resides. He spends his time studying how the flights interact with and support one another. Not much else is known of him by the rest of the clan, as it seems he has not much interest in socialization outside of the diplomatic work he does when accompanying the leadership on meetings with plague clans. Though, if one would talk to him, they would find he carries an air of lonliness and subtle fear about him. |
It appears that the Tidelord's disappearance has left a lasting mark on Raja. He fears that others will do the same to him, diety or otherwise. Due to this, he becomes a very clingy friend once he is attatched. It becomes offputting to those who do not understand, however he means well. He wishes to make more friends than he currently has, but is held back by fear and anxiety. Though his residence at the ESLF has helped with it, he has a long way to go. |
  ARATHARaja has very confused, mixed feelings about the lady guardian who is claimed as the ESLF water ambassador. He finds her to be quite amicable, although serious. Though she reminds him of the diety who left him, he feels drawn to her almost in a romantic sense. Yet he also resents her as a symbol of what he wasn't allowed to have; unwavering faith in a deity. Because of these mixed feelings, he has decidedly avoided her at all costs. |
