Royala

Kind-hearted (if a little snooty sometimes) Royala is the only dragon who could possibly get on with her crotchety familiar. Although occasionally demanding, she is the best Guardian at insect catching which has won the regard of the Clan's Faes and Spirals, and along with her patient nature, this makes it worthwhile to put up with her high-maintenance moments. She loves to tell stories, and although she knows only a few traditional legends, the imagination in her made-up tales more than make up for any lack. Although many find her speaking voice a little annoying (she can be pretentious) her storytelling voices are never criticised, and she has an almost nocturne-like ability to mimic the precise tones of others.
She has a strong bond with her father and remains good friends with her curious younger brother CrimsonObsidian, who she has maintained written correspondence with since he left to serve the Arcanist. Although no-one else in the Clan can work out why, she and Elfin have always had an extremely close friendship which consists mainly of her talking while he listens and works. They both seem happy with it, though.
