Peryite is a wind-born dragon who joined Scourge during the midst of the Rotten Wind battle, where his clan had been completely destroyed by him. Rather than death, he opted to join the clan- making sure to state his dislike for his birth clan. Of course he was not accepted straight away, it took a long time for the other's to trust him and see him as a member of the family. But he is now regarded as such unconditionally, anyone whom does not see him this way doesn't last long in the clan. Much like Scourge, the longer he spent in the Scarred Wasteland, the more he transformed to resemble plague-born dragons. His Greenish skin had darkened to various red shades that resembled the blood-like sky which loomed over him. Despite being a plague dragon in name, he still retained his beautiful markings of the sky and elegance of the wind. He was also granted new abilities by Plaguebringer, he could now transmit seedlings of plague across Sornieth, infesting other clans with dangerous diseases and toxins. He could also do this by breathing on other dragons, because of his beauty, other clans would trust him unconditionally- a mistake on their part which had devastating consequences. He is pretty much satisfied with his role in the clan, he could serve Scourge and do something he loves; flying. His love for flying did not reflect his feelings for his old Wind Flight, he is indifferent and has no desire to return. When asked by other dragons "why don't you want revenge for your old clan?" he usually answers with a shrug. Yet the answer is that he simply did not care for those connections, he is numb to forming connections with others, which is why he does not have a mate nor will ever have one.
