‍ ‍ ‍ ‍ ‍ Guardian of the Fallen Shadow. After the fall of the Shadowbinder in the War of the Eleven, she took up the charge of guarding the Shadowbinder's ever oozing corpse. The powerful Arcane mage Biham cast a spell to create a bottomless pit to contain the shaded ichor and to prevent a trail leading to where it is hidden. For the last 5,000 years Drydwen has not left her post. The only news brought to her of the outside world are from Danny and Feneon, who visit once in a while.

She is quite a talkative dragon once there is company, enjoying long heavy conversation on philosophical topics. Before her charge, she was a student at a Shadow based academy and was part of the debate team. Some found it ironic that a Shadow dragon like her embodied Light ideals more than her own flight's.

Lately, due to an unknown cause, the supposedly endless pit has begun to overflow with ichor. With Biham long gone, Drydwen must come to face the fact that to continue her charge and protect the corpse, she may have to leave her post.
