Personality
Whenever Aella arrives on the Wandering Isle, the dragons of the clan know it's time to have fun.

The ones who've met her before, that is. Those who haven't might be forgiven for thinking this huge blue shape, jagged-toothed and bright-eyed, has come to drag the entire clan back to her lair in the depths, never to be seen again. But Aella doesn't really go in for that sea monster act. Yes, she says, she is technically a sea monster, but her people's attitudes to their sky-dwelling counterparts range as far as the ocean is wide. And Aella likes nothing better than to show other dragons a good time; to invite them to her home beneath the waves, to show them the wonders of coral and shifting sand, to share a good story and good food, and then, when the night is out, to escort her guests safely back to land.

Background
Aella is considered a bit of an eccentric, to say the least, by her own people. Her distaste for their reclusive lifestyle has driven her to the shallow waters on the shores of the Windswept Plateau, where she has been fortunate enough to make friends among the dragons not too terrified to venture into her lair.
